I have worked in private practice for over 20 years in Encino, CA and currently in La Canada, CA. Previously, I worked at the UCLA NeuroPsychiatric Institute and Hospital in the Inpatient and Outpatient departments and the Anxiety Disorders Clinic including the Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Program.
My work is coordinated in a way that combines a wide range of professional experiences. My areas of practice include specializing in mood and anxiety disorders including OCD, BDD, phobias, panic, social anxiety, generalized anxiety, trichotillomania and OC related disorders.
In addition to working with mood and anxiety disorders I work with infertility, pregnancy and postpartum issues.

ERP has been shown to effectively treat Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. This specialized type of behavioral therapy helps individuals face their fears and learn to function without their compulsive behaviors and avoidances. In time anxiety is decreased and the obsessions diminish as well. I will help evaluate your symptoms and formulate a treatment plan.
CBT is widely used for mood and anxiety symptoms as well as a range of other life challenges. By identifying inaccurate thoughts and beliefs I will teach you techniques to create accurate or balanced thoughts instead of living with the false thoughts which cause stress and emotional distress. CBT is skill based and these skills can be used at any age and in any stressful situation.
